The Buddy
System
Advantage
Mom's Best Friend
For many Moms -- and Dads -- taking the kids
out for ice cream is a traumatic experience.
Not only do you have the lengthy decision process
over which of the 300 flavors to choose,
but there is always the post-delivery gravity test
where your child discovers that ice cream
will fall out of a cone held on an angle,
the losing race against drips
and the post-event scouring of kids and car.
The Buddy System won't help your kid to decide
any faster, or help ice cream to defy gravity,
but it will eliminate messy spills, sticky drips
and the deafening cries that can turn an
ice cream dream into a nightmare.
Improving the Ice Cream Business
The ice cream cone was introduced at the 1904
World's Fair
in St. Louis. Very few advancements were made for the remainder
of the century. Some companies tried wrapping the cones in
paper jackets, but when the ice cream melts, the paper
sticks to the cone. Yecch!!! Some companies put
their ice cream on a stick, but these still melt and
make a mess. Some ice cream shops
require their employees to wear gloves, but the gloves still
pass germs from money, the employee's hair or sweat and
from the counter to the edible ice cream cone.
An ice cream cone is one of the few food products
sold where we eat the container. For less than 3 cents
the Buddy System provides a barrier to germs
and other impurities that can lead to sickness or disease.
We are not alone in that concern.
The Institute of Packaging Professionals named the
Buddy System the #1 food safety product in North America.
If you are a restaurant or ice cream store owner,
you should show your customers you care
and provide The Buddy System.
If you are a consumer or parent, you should DEMAND
that your favorite ice cream purveyor use
The Buddy System!
